Volunteer Futures Symposium 2018 on October 3 & 4 in Richmond was fun-filled event!
For the 3rd year, Volunteer BC and BCACG combined their event for individuals around BC interested in learning more about volunteerism, non-profits and charities.
We had 22 speakers and 11 sessions to choose from spanning topics from working with Indigenous organizations, volunteer recognition, bullying in the workplace to tracking your success, there was a lots to learn from these incredible speakers.

Keynote – Kris Archie from The Circle
along with other Indigenous Charitable Leaders shared their wisdom and experiential insight on partnership, collaboration and volunteerism.
Jason Shim from Pathways to Education Canada
presented a dynamic session on how not to suck at digital youth engagement and taught attendees some dance moves!
Birds a Feather Breakfast –
We introduced a new way of networking based on on shared interests and topics.
