Human Services Sector Applications Open

Applications are open for BC Community Gaming Grants for the human services sector on August 1, 2026.

Applications for the human services sector will close on November 30.

Notifications for this sector will be sent by February 28, 2027.

Which organizations are included in the human services sector?

Any organization that delivers programs that improve the quality of life in communities by:

• supporting the wellbeing of children youth, families or seniors
• addressing the needs of under-served groups
• providing public outreach or education related to social issues

Examples of eligible programs

Programs eligible for Community Gaming Grants in the human services sector include:

• child and youth care and support
• services for people living with a disability or health condition
• poverty reduction, food security and short-term housing programs
• mental health and counselling services
• community building
• indigenous wellness and community services
