Sports Sector Applications Open

Applications are open for BC Community Gaming Grants for the sports sector on March 1, 2026.

Applications for the sports sector will close on May 31.

Notifications for this sector will be sent by September 30.

Which organizations are included in the sports sector?

Any organization that delivers organized sports to youth and amateur athletes. These programs include instruction and opportunities to compete.

Examples of eligible programs

Programs eligible for Community Gaming Grants in the arts and culture sector include:

• Youth sports such as:
  • soccer
  • swimming
  • hockey
  • skating
  • basketball,
  • baseball
  • biking
  • rowing/paddling
  • sailing
  • martial arts,
  • skiing
• Special Olympics
• Seniors Games
